For the second year in a row, United Real Estate Chicago welcomed Agents, staff, family members and preferred partners for its annual Night at the Ballpark, an event designed to bring people together outside of the office and celebrate the relationships that make the brokerage successful.
Held as a way to show appreciation for Agents while creating opportunities for face-to-face networking, this year's gathering attracted approximately 70 attendees. The evening gave agents the chance to connect with one another, spend time with their families, and build relationships with the preferred partners who support their businesses throughout the year.
What began as a successful event last year quickly became something worth repeating.
"We thought it would be a good idea to repeat the success," said Debbye Tyler, Designated Managing Broker of United Real Estate Chicago.
In addition to bringing Agents and their families together, this year's event expanded to include preferred partners, creating a relaxed environment where agents could get to know the professionals who help support their businesses.
The casual atmosphere encouraged conversations, new connections, and meaningful interactions that don't always happen during a busy workday.
One of the evening's most memorable moments came before the game officially got underway.
Agent Mary Huska's grandson had the opportunity to throw out the first pitch, creating a special experience not only for their family but for everyone in attendance.
The moment quickly became a highlight of the night, giving attendees something to cheer for and setting the tone for an evening centered around community and connection.
For Lori Miles, the event provided a valuable opportunity to reconnect with the Chicago office and meet Agents who had joined since her move from Illinois.
Being able to spend time with newer Agents, learn more about how they work, and hear their perspectives created meaningful conversations that strengthened relationships across the office.
Other memorable moments unfolded throughout the evening as agents and their families enjoyed the game together. Children played together in the stands, agents connected with colleagues and preferred partners, and attendees shared in the excitement of the game, including a home run that sparked anticipation for the fireworks that followed.
For the leadership team, watching Agents interact, build relationships, and simply enjoy time together was one of the most rewarding parts of the event.
Events like Night at the Ballpark reflect United Real Estate Chicago's commitment to fostering a culture built on relationships, collaboration, and appreciation.
The brokerage also expressed gratitude to the sponsors and preferred partners whose participation helped make the evening possible.
As the event continues to grow each year, one thing remains clear: bringing people together outside of business creates connections that strengthen the entire United Real Estate Chicago community.
