Congratulations to Jim Long - 2025 Broker of the Year!

When Jim Long, Broker/Owner of United Real Estate San Diego, was named Broker of the Year, his response reflected the leadership style that has shaped his office’s culture.

“I’m not a toot-my-own-horn kind of person,” Jim shared. “It’s definitely not just my award. It belongs to the team here.”

Leading more than 40 Agents, Jim views his role not as a title, but as a responsibility to the people who choose to build their business alongside him.

 

“They have a choice of where they work — and they choose to be here. I owe it to them to show up and be my best every single day.”

That philosophy has helped create a brokerage culture defined by collaboration, shared success and mutual support.

“Everyone celebrates each other’s wins and everyone is willing to share what’s working. That collaborative environment is really powerful.”

 

Even during challenging moments, Jim keeps a simple reminder at the center of his leadership: “Someone is counting on me somewhere. Whether it’s an easy day or a hard day, I still need to show up.”
