Down the Rabbit Hole: United Indianapolis’ Viral Alice in Wonderland Home

That’s exactly the reaction people are having to the viral Alice in Wonderland-inspired listing represented by Nick Cannon of United Real Estate Indianapolis.
Located in Broad Ripple Indiana, the fully furnished home has quickly gained attention online thanks to its immersive design, whimsical décor, artistic ceilings, hanging clocks and utensils and backyard oasis that feels straight out of a fantasy film.
“When you walk through the house, every single corner has so much detail,” Nick shared. “The people who created it didn’t leave any space untouched. The creativity and imagination that went into that place is insane.”
The home was created from the ground up by longtime friends of Nick’s, making the listing even more personal for him.
“The owner and I grew up together,” he said. “Watching them create this from scratch and turn it into what it is today has been incredible.”
Inside, each room tells its own story. Nick says one of his favorite spaces is the dining room, complete with suspended décor pieces, dramatic ceilings and colorful details inspired by the whimsical world of Wonderland.
“The pictures honestly don’t even do it justice,” Nick said. “You really have to see it in person to appreciate how much work and creativity went into it.”
While the property initially drew attention as a potential Airbnb or content-creator destination, Nick says he also sees it as an opportunity for someone simply wanting a home unlike anything else on the market.
“At the end of the day, it’s still an incredible house,” he shared. “I think there are a lot of people whose lives could fit perfectly into a home like that.”
Beyond the viral listing, the attention has also helped shine a spotlight on Nick’s growing real estate career. After years working in software sales, he transitioned fully into real estate and recently joined.
“I’ve always loved real estate,” Nick said. “It’s really starting to pick up for me and this house has definitely brought a lot of attention and new opportunities.”
