Congrats, Nancy!
We are proud to celebrate Nancy Garcia of United Real Estate Dallas on being named MetroTex REALTOR® of the Year — an extraordinary honor from one of the largest REALTOR® associations in the country, representing more than 37,000 members.
This recognition reflects far more than production. It honors leadership, advocacy and a career devoted to service.
Nancy’s impact extends well beyond her clients. She previously served as State Chair of TREPAC, Texas REALTORS®’ Political Action Committee, and has dedicated years to advocacy efforts that protect property rights and strengthen the real estate industry at the state level. Her work has helped shape policy, support professionals and ensure REALTORS® have a strong voice in Texas.
“To be nominated alongside two incredible professionals — and then to win — was a complete surprise,” Nancy shared. “It’s really an honor.”
But for Nancy, the award represents something deeper.
“The satisfaction comes from knowing you’re making an impact — that you’re leaving something better for someone else,” she said. “That’s always been my drive.”
That mindset was shaped by her parents, whose legacy of generosity and community focus continues to influence her today. After the recent passing of her mother at 97, Nancy reflected on the foundation they gave her — one rooted in service, humility and giving back.
“Every lesson makes you who you are,” she said. “It’s an honor to live your life in a way that gives back.”
Looking ahead, Nancy’s commitment to community continues. She is working to bring greater awareness to charitable initiatives connected to her orchard and farm project, with the goal of pursuing the National Association of REALTORS® Good Neighbor Award — another reflection of her belief that real estate is about impact beyond transactions.
Nancy’s career is a powerful reminder that leadership isn’t just about success — it’s about service.
