Shawn Buck, a Growth-Minded Leader Taking Real Estate — and Opportunity — to New Heights

United Real Estate is excited to spotlight Shawn Buck, a Broker Associate and Strategic Growth Partner with United Real Estate DFW Properties.

His journey is a unique blend of entrepreneurship, impactful leadership, and even a touch of Hollywood.

Shawn launched his independent brokerage, Strive Realty, in early 2020. In just four years, he grew the company to more than 80 Agents, establishing a reputation built on service, culture and high-impact leadership. In June 2024, Shawn made a bold move—merging Strive Realty with United Real Estate DFW Properties. More than 60 Agents joined him in the transition, gaining access to expanded tools, national-level resources, and a trusted leadership team. 

“For me, the United merger was about providing more for my Agents—more support, more brokers to lean on, more opportunities to grow,” Shawn shared. “Having leadership I can call or text any time makes a big difference.” 

But Shawn’s good news doesn’t end with real estate. This year, he also stepped briefly into the world of television. After being nominated by fellow local business leaders, Shawn was selected to appear as an extra in a major production—landing a spot in the opening of Landman Season 2! 

What surprised him most? The scale and intensity behind the scenes. 

“We were there for around 16 hours just to film a one-and-a-half-minute clip,” Shawn said. “It really shows how much time, energy, people and money go into creating even the smallest moment of a full production.” 

While he’s not planning a career change, Shawn says he’ll “never turn down a good opportunity.”
