That commitment to serving others recently earned her recognition as the **2026 Good Neighbor Award recipient** from the Huntsville Area Association of REALTORS® (HAAR). The award honors a REALTOR® whose dedication to service, compassion, and community involvement creates a lasting impact beyond the real estate transaction. For Tina, receiving the recognition came as a surprise. *"I was surprised and incredibly touched,"* she said. *"Giving back to my community has never been something I've done for recognition, so to be honored for it was completely unexpected. It means so much to know that something I care deeply about has been noticed and appreciated. I'm incredibly grateful and truly honored."* What makes the award especially meaningful is that recipients are nominated and selected by their peers. *"There are so many REALTORS® who quietly do wonderful things in their communities without ever expecting recognition,"* Tina shared. *"To be selected by my peers among people who give so much of themselves is incredibly humbling. I feel very fortunate to be part of a profession and a community filled with people who genuinely care about helping others."* That desire to help others is something Tina brings into every aspect of her work as a real estate professional. *"Real estate has always been about much more than houses to me. It's about people,"* she said. *"Every client has a different story, different circumstances and different needs. I try to listen, meet people where they are, take some of the pressure off, solve problems when I can, and genuinely care about what happens to them, before, during and long after the closing."* She believes the same values that inspire her community involvement also guide the way she serves her clients. *"Whether I'm helping someone in my community or helping a client through a major life transition, I want people to know that they have someone in their corner."* As someone recognized for making a difference, Tina encourages other real estate professionals to find meaningful ways to get involved in the communities they serve. *"Find something you genuinely care about and get involved,"* she said. *"It doesn't have to be a huge undertaking or involve writing a big check. Sometimes the greatest impact comes from giving your time, sharing your skills or connections, helping one family, or simply showing up when someone needs you."* She added that REALTORS® are uniquely positioned to make a positive difference in the lives of others. *"We're already connected to our communities and the people who live in them.
